I didn't feel like watching or posting any "Walter Röhrl drives the 991 Turbo" videos - to much of a show I thought. Then today I still watched the following vid - his facial expression starting at 09:03 is quite amazing... fully concentrated, a true car enthusiast.

918 Spyder Nordschleife record time
Since it has been announced, that some of the developments done for the 918 Spyder might arrive in the 911 sometime, the car is certainly of interest to all Turbo likers.
Over a year ago Porsche was projecting a Nordschleife lap time of 07:15. Meanwhile they raised the car's power to a combined output of unbelievable 887 bhp (608hp from the 4.6l V8).
The Spyder now lapped the Nordschleife in 06:57! Astonishing. Porsche has released two videos to document the accomplishment. Walter Röhrl, Porsche test driver Timo Kluck and Porsche factory driver Marc Lieb all drove lap times below 07:00, but it was Marc Lieb setting the 06:57 record time.

The McLaren P1 is rumored to have completed the lap in 07:04.

Chris Harris driving Ferrari F40
What's this post doing here? Well we've read about the annoying complications between Harris and Ferrari which led to him not testing the new models anymore.
Now this video is all about car enthusiasm packed into good footage, never mind the brand.
The F40 with it's 2.9l turbo charged 500 PS, weighing just 1100kg ... a true sports car legend.
